SHARE YOUR BAPTISM STORY!
Sharing your story is such an important part of your baptism, and gives you the amazing opportunity to communicate the story of God’s work in your life.
What we have seen over and over again, is that a short version of your story often invites others to want to hear more and it gives them the confidence to take the step of baptism for themselves. When writing, it should be about a half page or a couple paragraphs double spaced so that it can be shared with others from the stage at One Line. We also use a picture to show the church who you are as your testimony is read.
Four Key Questions to guide you as you write your testimony:
• What was your life like before your faith in God?
• What took place for you to make the decision to follow God?
• Who were key people in your journey?
• What are you looking forward to?
