One Line Community
We all want people to know and a place to belong. At One Line, we want to help people find meaningful relationships and genuine community. But we believe Jesus invites us into something even bigger than connection. He invites us to live on mission together.
A One Line Community is a group of people united around a shared mission: Living the way of Jesus together and helping others do the same. That mission is what makes each One Line Community unique. One community might be focused on helping families in North Wheaton Live The Way Of Jesus. Another might be focused on helping professors at College of DuPage Live The Way Of Jesus. Another might be focused on helping men in the surrounding neighborhoods Live The Way Of Jesus. Different people, different places and different missions, but the same desire to Live The Way Of Jesus and help others do the same.
As people share that mission, they also share life. One Line Communities intentionally BLESS the people they are called to serve and create spaces where relationships can grow. They Gather intentionally, creating space for others. They meet in Huddles to celebrate, study Scripture, pray and connect with one another, and they form D-Groups where a few people can go deeper through encouragement, honesty and accountability. These rhythms help people grow as followers of Jesus while staying focused on the mission they share.
You don’t need to already know your mission or have your community figured out. That’s why we created Growth Track. Growth Track helps you discover more about who we are, how God has shaped you, and the next steps you can take toward deeper connection and living on mission with others. Joining a Team is another important part of that journey. Serving alongside others is one of the best ways to build relationships and begin finding your place in a One Line Community.
